Neighbourhood

Our house overlooks the city of roses - Mariager. Here there are old half-timbered houses, small cozy shops and beautiful scenery. We have a beautiful church and an old monestry that the city is build around. Mariager is known as the "city of roses", and we do have a rosegarden next to a playground - a nice place to enjoy the outdoors as a family. We enjoy long walks in the woods / by the fjord, strolling around the cobbled streets or sailing the fjord. Legoland, Randers rainforest, Djurs summerland and Jesperhus flower park etc. is within easy driving distance and in the city itself we have the salt center, the Swan steamer and the veteran railway.
