General Overview

We live in a brand new condominium in Wellen Park Golf and Country Club - a private, gated community in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. We enjoy lounging and swimming in our huge resort style pool that is heated to the perfect temperature and simply gorgeous, as well as our satellite pools that are located throughout our community for those times when we want a private place to read and sunbathe and take a quick dip. The walk to our satellite pool is less than a minute down a paved path. We are also within minutes of several beautiful southwest Florida beaches, including Siesta Key Beach, known as one of the 5 most beautiful beaches in the world. We have a new Golf Pro Shop for our 18 hole golf course, and a Racquet Pro Shop for our eight brand new, lighted clay tennis courts and eight pickleball courts, which are always open to new and visiting players. Our clubhouse has a gym with fitness classes, a spa with services that include hair styling, massages, nails and more, and an onsite restaurant that serves great food and hosts tons of truly fun activities every week. We are located within two miles of the summer stadium of the Atlanta Braves - a professional baseball team, which holds numerous events in addition to professional baseball games. We are also within two miles of the upscale Downtown Wellen, which has shops, restaurants, a Farmer’s Market on Sundays, and weekly entertainment on the green that overlooks a lake, around which there is a three-mile walking path. Walking and biking is very common here and you will find walking and bicycle paths for miles that start right outside your door. Our condominium was built in November 2024. It has two bedrooms, two full baths, a fully stocked and spacious kitchen that is open to very comfortable dining and living room spaces, plus a separate den, a private front porch overlooking the community and a private back porch overlooking the golf course and a pond, plus laundry with washer and dryer, and a private garage and driveway. This community is active and welcoming to people of all ages. It is the most friendly, inclusive neighborhood community we have ever lived in, which is why we have decided to make it our home. Some of our neighbors rent their same units for $6000++ USD/month, but we prefer to use and enjoy our property ourselves when we are not travelling.
