General Overview
Our house is in town yet lucky enough to be in a quiet street, to have a garden, to be right next to the forest with a large part park and playground for children and 10 minutes by tram or car from the sea. The advantages of the city without the disadvantages!
You'll love the shaded garden in the summer and the terrace for sunbathing during the day or lounging in the cool on the summer evenings.
The immediate access (2 minutes walk) to public transport (2 tram lines and several bus lines) is very appreciable.
You can also enjoy our large library and our many board games.
You will certainly appreciate the presence of our cats, both independent and cuddly, very easy to live with.
The Space
Our house is located in a very quiet area of the city of Le Havre, while being 2 minutes walk from public transport and 10 minutes from the city center and the beach by tram or car.
We really appreciate the nearby forest (2 minutes walk) which is our daily walk with our dog and whose freshness is very appreciable in summer.
We are also lucky to have a garden with trees that is very pleasant in the summer.
The ground floor is composed of a large living room divided into 2 parts (the lounge area and the dining room), a kitchen and a toilet.
In the living room we have a library well stocked with books and board games and a computer screen and 2 speakers that we use to listen to music or watch movies via our computer. We don't have a television. The sofa can be used as an extra bed as it is a 2-seater convertible.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and a coffee machine.
A washing machine is located in a linen closet in the basement of the house.
Upstairs you will find:
- 3 bedrooms, the 2 bedrooms of our teenagers (each 1 single bed) and ours (1 double bed in 140). Please note that we also have 2 armchairs that can be used as extra beds for small children.
- a bathroom with double sinks, a bathtub and a shower
- a second toilet
- (an office not accessible).
The whole is bright. The decoration is simple and modern.
Our many board games, books and comics for children and adults are at your disposal.
We also lend you our bikes which will allow you to discover the surroundings thanks to many very easy paths, whether in the forest of Montgeon or on the cycle paths and greenways of Seine-Maritime.
All amenities are less than 5 minutes away on foot or by car, 10 minutes by tram: Supermarket, bakery, butcher/delicatessen, the Post Office, etc ...
We particularly like this temperate region all year round, close to many points of interest; There is something for everyone, at any time of the year:
- Étretat (30mn)
- Fécamp (45mn)
- Honfleur (30mn)
- Deauville-Trouville (45mn)
- D-Day landing beaches and memorials (1 hour to 2 hours).
- Regional Natural Park of the Boucles de la Seine (about 1 hour)
- Brotonne Forest and the abbeys of Jumièges, Saint-Wandrille, etc ... (about 1 hour)
- Rouen (1h)
- Paris (2 hours 15 minutes)
- Mont Saint Michel (2h20)
- Parc Astérix (2h30)
- Disneyland Paris (2h50)
Our city is very well served by train from Paris (about 2h15) and from Le Havre train station you are 10 minutes from the house by tram (including 2 minutes on foot).
Our two cats, Rainbow and Moon, will be happy to receive your good care.
We also have an Australian Shepherd dog, Nazca, 8 years old, whom we would like to take with us as much as possible in our exchanges; He always had the habit of following us everywhere, including our home exchanges, and we never had a problem.

We are a family of 4 people, Soizic, the dad, Valérie, the mother, Léna, our eldest daughter (18 years old) and Ambre, our youngest daughter (15 years old).
We travel with our dog, Nazca, an 8-year-old Australian shepherd who has followed us on all our adventures since we were a baby.
We currently live in France, in Normandy, in the city of Le Havre.
We have been used to home exchanges since 2014 (on average one exchange per year), via other platforms. A friend told us about "peoplelikeus" with great enthusiasm, so we want to discover the warm atmosphere she told us ;-).
We are looking for an exchange for the month of August 2025 ideally with Switzerland or the region north of Milan, but open to all other proposals.
Looking forward to talking to you!
