General Overview
Wilmington has several beaches to explore as well as a quaint downtown area on the Cape Fear River.
We are 10 minutes from Carolina Beach and the boardwalk, 20 minutes from Wrightsville beach, and 20 minutes to downtown and the riverfront boardwalk.
There are a plethora of great restaurants, bars, and kid friendly activities nearby. You will never be board with access to beach activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and surfing, museums for adults and kids, downtown river cruises and historic carriage rides.
The Space
We have an open floor concept home with a separate dining room that seats 8, an eat in kitchen that seats 4 and 2 bar seats.
All of the bedrooms except the guest bedroom/bathroom are on the second floor. The laundry room is also on the second floor.
There are 3 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower.
There is a free standing, screened in gazebo and plenty of deck space. We have a large fenced in yard which is great for kids and dogs.
Guest Access
2 story home with hardwood stairs. There is a 4" step up into the home from the garage and the front porch. There are 2 brick steps down from the house into the back yard.
Notes
We have a golden retriever named Oliver who will be staying with his friends when we have company. Pets are welcome!

Neighbourhood
We live in a friendly neighborhood with lots of kids playing and riding bikes, people walking dogs and a community pool just across the street.
There are a few restaurants within biking distance, nearby drugstores and grocery stores.
Getting to my home
We are a 4 hour drive from Charlotte, 2 hours from Raleigh and 1.5 hours from Myrtle Beach. The largest airport is in Raleigh, however, there are many flights into Wilmington's airport as well.

Wilmington ILM is 15-20 min from our home.
Getting Around
A car is needed to fully explore the area.
