General Overview

Lovingly maintained and updated throughout, we have a 4 bedroom home, of which three would be available for guests. All 3 offer views, queen beds, and private ensuites. Great open layout with mountain and city views. Hardwood floors, granite and stone kitchen countertops, with AC for the warm summer days and two gas fireplaces for the chilly winter evenings. With 3 spacious bedrooms offered, a large kitchen and living room there is plenty of space for a family or 1-3 couples, it's an ideal vacation spot for a week or a month! We designed the home for ourselves, and it is very comfortable and well furnished. From a great outdoor, covered patio, to warm and inviting fireplaces indoors, it is an amazing place to call home. Almost 4000 sqft of house right in the middle of Kelowna! This stylish place to stay is perfect for trips to explore beautiful Kelowna. We are located close to all amenities (5 to 10 min to stores), 15 min to Kelowna airport, beaches, downtown breweries and wineries.

The Space

The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of closet space, and your choice of foam or feather pillows. Thick towels, and 100% cotton bed linens will keep you happy in dreamland.

Guest Access

There are three floors, with kitchen, dining and living areas on the main level, three bedrooms on the lower level, and a games table upstairs.

Notes

We are in a very safe, small, private gated community, and do have an alarm system if you choose to use it. Only 27 units of mostly retirees.

Neighbourhood

We love living in the Okanagan where we can enjoy summer water skiing or winter snow skiing. There are plenty of outdoor hiking trails, as well as biking, golfing, wine touring, and indulging in our local farm-to-table food scene. Kelowna is situated on an 80 mile lake, so swimming and boating is busy in our summer months. A short 10 minute drive gets you to most downtown and area restaurants, shopping malls and grocery stores. A 30 minute drive gets you to dozens of scenic wineries in the Okanagan valley, and a 60 minute drive gets you to the top of Silver Star or Big White mountains. The Okanagan is best known for its natural settings, wineries (over 160), beaches (over 30), Outdoor Adventures, Hiking & Cycling, Culture and Heritage events, Food & Wine.

Getting to my home

Located in the world famous Okanagan Valley, often referred to the Napa Valley of the north, we are 4 hrs inland from Vancouver on Highway 97 which runs from Alaska through British Columbia to the USA.

Nearest airport

Kelowna international airport is the nearest airport which is 15 minutes away. Many daily flights come from Vancouver, Calgary Edmonton and Seattle.

Getting Around

A car is recommended, as there are many wonderful spots in and around the Kelowna area to explore, not all accessible by walking or public transit. We may have a car available for exchange. www.tourismkelowna.com

Gwen

Dennis and I, both retired, love to spend time in W Austrailia with our grandchildren. Golfing, reading, sightseeing and wine tasting take up a fair bit of our leisure time as well. We also have a second home, a beachside ground floor condominium in Maui HI. for an exchange. Additional pictures can be sent to you directly along with current availability. We would be travelling on our own most of the time, and are both foodies and like visiting wineries in the area. We enjoy local markets, a day of golf, reading on new beaches and points of interest.
