Gerringong is a laid-back beach town of 3,000 people, known for its surf culture, scenic coastline, and great fishing spots. Overlooking the stunning Werri Beach, the 1.5 km stretch offers excellent surf breaks, rock pools, and a tranquil lagoon—ideal for swimmers, surfers, and angleres. Just 11 km north, Kiama offers more dining and the famous Blowhole. To the south, Gerroa’s Seven Mile Beach is a top windsurfing spot, and Crooked River Winery in Gerringong provides daily tastings, with 14 others nearby. The surrounding countryside is perfect for picnics and bushwalks, and the charming town of Berry, just 15 km away, adds a touch of heritage and style. My favourite spots are: Werri Beach & Headland A golden-sand beach that's ideal for swimming, surfing, paddling, and sunbathing. Boat Harbour Ocean Pool A sheltered rock pool and parkland is great for swimming, picnicking or fishing. Kiama Coastal Walk Begin at Werri Beach and follow the scenic 14lm coastal trail north to Kiama. Rolling cliffs, ocean views and wildflower-covered dunes.
