General Overview

A cosy and tasteful two-bed flat in Glasgow's Southside. Our home is colourful, bright, and relaxed. The bedroom looks out to trees and gets beautiful sunlight in the mornings. There's also a dedicated workspace at the window (where you can spend the days watching the squirrel family that lives in the oak tree if you'd like). It's a very safe area and building, perfect for a couple or small family. (We have two bedrooms but will need to use the second as storage during the exchange) *miniature dachshund (Filo) not included ;)

Carina

We're Lara and Carina, a married couple (both 28) living in Glasgow, Scotland. Carina is a documentary film director, and Lara works in PR. We're clean and respectful guests and know the importance of looking after a place (both as a guest and host) from running a guest house on the Isle of Arran. This is our first time using Home Exchange, and we're excited for the connections and experiences to come! We're specifically looking for a place to stay in NYC (ideally near Ridgewood, Queens) in August, as Carina will be taking part in a documentary film development programme. Our place in Glasgow is an ideal hub for exploring Scotland, only 1 hour from Edinburgh (while the Fringe is happening) and is in the hipster South Side of the city.
