Our spacious comfortable home is situated in a quiet cul de sac about a 15-20 min walk from the centre of Blenheim. Blenheim is the town at the heart of the Marlborough wine region and our house is a ten minute walk to the first winery tasting room. We have a little cat called Pippa who is very independent and comes and goes through her cat flap but if you are staying then we'd appreciate it if you could feed her.
The Space
An open plan downstairs area of kitchen, dinning and lounge and off to the side the master bedroom and bathroom and a seperate toilet. All downstairs areas open out onto the patio or garden. Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms and a large bathroom. The laundry is downstairs in the garage. There is on street and off street parking.

Neighbourhood
We live in a cul de sac so we know most of our neighbours. It's very quiet, but if you need anything the neighbours are very approachable.
Getting to my home
We are about a 20-30 min walk from the train and bus station and a 10 min drive from the airport
Nearest airport
Blenheim airport is a 10 minute drive away
Getting Around
It is a flat 20-30 min walk or 4 min drive to town. There is a bus that runs from a bus stop at the end of our street although it only runs past every 1.5 hours on weekdays and less frequently on a weekend. It costs $2.

Happy to help with advice on what to do in the region either before or during your visit. Also available to just catch up for a drink or coffee if you just want to meet a local.
We absolutely loved Karen’s home (and the cute friendly cat)! Great location and very convenient for exploring everywhere in the Marlborough region with lots of outstanding wineries and restaurants and stunning scenery! We could have easily done with a few more days to explore this beautiful area. Will definitely have to come back again some time!

Julie and Ken were fantastic guests. They left the house as they found it and even stripped the bed! Julie was easy to communicate with before and after their stay. They were an absolute pleasure to have stay in our house.
We had a terrific time in the Blenheim/Marlborough region and that was in no small way thanks to Karen and Andy. Their home is spacious, well organised and very comfortable and their cat is a delight! Thank you again!
Toni and her husband were the perfect guests. Good comminication pre and post staying and left the house in mint condition.
