It is a district known in Paris for its proximity to Montmarte and its main shopping street, the rue des Martyrs, famous for its food shops. The neighborhood is lively and not too touristy because it is away from the crowds of tourists who go to the Sacré Coeur. It is ideally located next to the department stores and the Moulin Rouge.

Getting Around

The metro is present near the apartment with the stations St Georges, Pigalle, Cadet, Anvers, Notre Dame de Lorette. There is also a bike rental system called Velib.

Virginie

We live in Paris in the 9th arrondissement, so close to Place Pigalle, the Moulin Rouge and Montmarte, but also close to the Opéra Garnier and the department stores. Vincent works remotely for an Italian tech start-up, I'm an art historian and I work part of the year at the university giving courses in the history of design and art. We like to travel regularly to Italy where the company Wsense that Vincent works for has its offices in Rome.
