General Overview

We have a large apartment in Amsterdam (Noord), very close to the ferry that takes you to the centre (the ferry is free of charge), but also close to other means of transportation. We love our neighborhood as it has hip pubs and restaurants, it's not crowded and it's close to the city center. Our apartment is pretty new, in a sustainable building with solar panels and central heating , with an open kitchen, 1,5 bathrooms and two bedrooms.

The Space

The apartment is situated on the 4th floor, reachable by elevator, there are also 2 sets of stairs. We have a private garage and shared garden/space. The apartment has it's own balcony with a view to Ij river, an open kitchen, 1 toilet, 1 fully equipped bathroom with a shower, 2 bedrooms, a storage room and a technical room.

Guest Access

The guests can enter from the main street and use the elevator to go to the 4th floor. They can also use the stairs if they want to. If they have a car, they can parc behind the building, in our private parking, then enter from there. We also have bike parking behind the building.

Notes

The apartment comes with a cat. We have a cat, Cody, who usually stays home. He is very sweet and behaved. So we hope that people who visit us can take good care of him. But don't worry, he doesn't need too much.

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is quiet, close to many restaurants, the ferry, bus and subway that takes you to the city centre. The supermarket is about 600m away, 1 km away we have more supermarkets and other shops and market.

Getting to my home

When you are flying to Schiphol (Amsterdam airport), take the train to Amsterdam Central Station and from there you can take a bus 391 to Floraweg (3 stops), then walk from there about 300m. The same if you come by train from another country, get to Amsterdam central station and follow the same route as described above.

Getting Around

The bus station is about 300m away, the subway 1 km away. The closest shops (supermarket and bakery) are 600m away, other shops about 1 km away (with supermarkets, market, drug store). You can also take a bus to the shopping center from Amsterdam Noord, or take the metro or bus to Amsterdam city centre.
