This private, light-filled mountain house on 3.5 acres in Gilboa, NY is a perfect secluded retreat for adventurers and families. Relax while grilling out on the large deck with great mountain views, then start a fire in the wood burner or fire pit, or enjoy the sunset from the hot tub!
The cabin is located near Hunter, Windham, and Plattekill ski areas, as wells as Minekill State Park and the Catskill Scenic Trail, and various wedding venues making it a perfect weekend getaway or a great spot to settle in longer term.
The Space
The huge open lawn (3.5 acres) and great outdoors space is incredible! It is 3 bedrooms (2 queens, 3rd a trundle with two twins) and 1 bath. The cabin has a large deck, fit with a big wood table handmade by William that seats 8, a Weber gas grill and a flat top grill. We also have a hot tub right off the deck that is a perfect place to watch the sunset!
Guest Access
There is keypad access on the front door for easy entry. There are a few steps to enter the house and then one of the bedrooms is up a set of stairs. All areas of the house and lawn are accessible, including the deck, fire pit, grill, griddle, and hot tub.

The house is in a great location in the small town of Gilboa, NY, near Roxbury and Stamford. It is very close to Hunter, Windham, and Plattekill Mountains, as well as various wedding venues (The Roxbury Barn, The Inn at West Settlement, & Blenheim Hill Farm are very close). There are many great restaurants, breweries, cideries, waterfalls, swimming holes and hikes nearby. The closest gas station is 5 minutes away and the closest grocery store and hardware store are 15 minutes.
Getting to my home
The house is just over an hour from Albany airport and 2.5-3 hours from NYC airports. Driving is best and in winter, four-wheel drive is recommended due to potential snow conditions.

Liz house was so beautiful and comfortable , and has all the necessary commodities that you need in a mountain.
We had a great time, it's a real retreat , we loved the fire place , it was so cozy and relaxing just sitting next to it .
