Our home looks out over a eucalypt valley at the edge of the Blue Mountains World Heritage area, while also being located just 10 minutes walk to the village of Springwood, where you will find all of the shops, services, cafes and restaurants you need.
We love to make use of the deck overlooking the bushland in the summer and the wood-burning stove to heat the house in the winter.
The central tourist area of the national park are 30 minutes away and all of the pleasures of Sydney and the eastern beaches are just 1.5 hours away. The best of both worlds!
The Space
Newly renovated kitchen and laundry/2nd toilet; large living/dining room with western view to the bushland and a wood stove; two bedrooms with Queen beds ( a third single bedroom can be made available if necessary); a home theatre/lounge. One bathroom with bathtub shower combined.
Renovations are ongoing, hence no photos yet of the main bedroom or living areas.
Guest Access
Everything is located on one level, just three steps up from the front entry path. The back of the house faces west and is raised above the sloping back yard, with a large deck overlooking a wooded valley.
Notes
We have an extensive library of books, music, DVDs and video streaming, with a room dedicated as a home theatre with surround sound and a 77-inch screen.
An e-bike is available for use.

I am a retired video producer and Breda is an historian. We have a flat-coated retriever called Mr Darcy. Our son Rowan lives in Canberra.
Two languages are used at home: English and Auslan (Australian Sign Language) as Breda is deaf.
We love living in the Blue Mountains, but regularly travel to Brisbane where most of our family and many friends are. We both spent half our lives in Brisbane, but moved south for the work and cooler weather.
We want to travel more and spend time in a community where we can learn some of the language and experience a different culture.
