Neighbourhood
Raheny is a charming coastal suburb on Dublin's north-side, blending rich history with natural beauty. Once a rural village, it has evolved into a vibrant community while preserving its village atmosphere. Residents enjoy proximity to Saint Anne’s Park—Dublin's second-largest park—and the UNESCO-designated North Bull Island, offering scenic walks and diverse wildlife. There are some excellent local cafés, restaurants, pubs and our personal favorite - the bakery!

If arriving to Dublin airport, the easiest way to reach our home is a taxi (takes 20 minutes). If arriving from Dublin city centre, it is a short 15 minute train journey (4 stops) to the local train station, and a 10 minute walk from there.

Getting Around
Our house is a 10-minute walk to the local village, and from the village, you can get a train (also known as the DART) to Dublin city centre in 15 minutes. On weekdays, the train typically runs every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 15-20 minutes outside of peak hours. On weekends, trains run every 30 minutes. It is also possible to get a bus from the village to the city, and these run frequently.
We are a couple in our 30s. I am an accountant and Paul is a software engineer. We have one small but energetic dog. We love trying new food and exploring new countries!
