What I love most about our home is the peaceful energy. It’s quiet, breezy at night, and just a five minute bike ride to the beach—perfect for morning walks or sunset surfing. It’s our little sanctuary where we slow down, connect, and feel truly at ease. We don’t have a TV in our home, but there’s endless activities to do on Oahu you won’t need one.
Guest Access
It’s two floors, bottom floor is bathroom, kitchen, living area and we have a back porch with seating. Upstairs are three bedrooms and 2 full baths.
Notes
We don't run the AC at all. It’s really expensive to run it. We have fans in very room to keep us cool. At night we keep the windows open to feel the ocean breeze.

The neighborhood is really special. It’s mostly families that live around us. Everyone is super friendly and it’s safe at night.

The best way to get to our home is by car. The bus system is pretty good too, but it’ll take a while to get places.

Cait
Hi, my name is Cait. I’m a yoga instructor and a lover of all things outdoors. At home, I’m a wife to my adventurous husband Brian, a wildlife biologist, and a proud mama to our sweet daughter Liv. Together, we’re building a life rooted in intention, nature, and connection. We love to travel, explore wild and beautiful places, and meet other families who share our love for adventure.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.

This is the beach that’s 5 minutes away from us or it’s a 20 minutes walk that my daughter and I do in the mornings. Great spot for catching beginner waves.
The beach also has nice view of Honolulu. It’s more of a local beach vs a tourist beach
Ko Olina resorts is just 20 minutes away. A great spot for kids and adults. It’s beautiful here.
The Dole Plantation is a fun thing to do! It’s about 25 minutes from us.
There’s a goat farm about 25 minutes from us. It’s free! The kids (or adults) can feed the goats. They also sell really good cheese and ice cream. Sweet Land Farm
