Neighbourhood

Our home lies very close to the Silvermines Mountains, the Devil's Bit & Keeper Hill, as well as some other wonderful mountain, forest and bog walking trails. We are also a short spin to Lough Derg and the picturesque villages and attractions that surround it. Ireland's friendliest town, Nenagh, is 5 minutes away and Toomevara village is even closer. Limerick City is 30 mins away, while the bigger Tipperary attractions - the Rock of Cashel, Holycross Abbey and Cahir Castle are all within an hour's drive. Galway, Cork and Dublin are all between 1.5 and 2 hours drive. As many of our previous exchangers have discovered, we are very centrally located for exploring.

Nearest airport

Shannon Airport is closest but Cork or Dublin are also within easy reach.

Getting Around

You will need a car during your stay here, either ours, your own or a hire-car, as we are in the countryside.
