Neighbourhood
Edinburgh is a small city of about 500,000 people and it has great public transport. We are in the Trinity area, in the north of the city; it is quiet and residential with a mixture of families and retired people. There is unrestricted free parking on the street outside and there is no passing traffic.
There are a few small neighbourhood cafes, two bars, a couple of convenience stores and a good bar/restaurant within a 5 minute walk.
There are large supermarkets within walking distance, or a short car/bus journey away.
Nearest airport
Edinburgh airport is 6 miles away. It takes about 30 mins in a taxi, or 1 hour by public transport.
Getting Around
There is a great bus service for getting around Edinburgh. The buses run every 10 minutes (every 20 mins on Sunday) and take about 15 minutes to get into the city centre.
