The Space
Vila Serrano is seamlessly integrated into the local architecture, reflecting the charm of Lençóis’ 19th-century Portuguese colonial houses. We’ve thoughtfully designed our space to preserve the natural beauty of the surroundings, using sustainable and ecological techniques to minimize our environmental footprint.
Set within lush gardens just 300 meters from Lençóis' center, the pousada features a pool and wellness center. All rooms have elegant, rustic-style décor and come equipped with a balcony, air conditioning, and mini-bar. Laundry services can be arranged, and parking is complimentary. We also offer a daily buffet breakfast, an in-house tour agency, and free Wi-Fi in public areas and most rooms. After a day of hiking, relax by the pool.
Guest Access
Most bungalows feature a balcony and a double bed, with some also including single beds. We can accommodate couples, families, of up to four guests.

The pousada is situated on the peaceful outskirts of the village, in a green oasis. Keep an eye out—you may spot hummingbirds or even the occasional monkey among the trees and flowers.
Lençóis serves as a gateway to the stunning Chapada Diamantina National Park, offering incredible hikes and tours.
It is the perfect place for people who love nature and doing trekking adventures which can be organised as day tours to week tours.

Vale do Pati Trek – One of Brazil’s most famous multi-day hikes, taking you through breathtaking valleys, waterfalls, and caves.
Fumaça Waterfall Trek – A challenging hike leading to one of Brazil’s tallest waterfalls, with jaw-dropping views.
Ribeirão do Meio – A shorter hike to a natural waterslide where you can cool off after trekking.

Getting to my home
The best international entry point to Brazil is via Salvador, the capital of Bahia.
From Salvador to Lençóis, the most direct option is to fly. Alternatively, you can take a bus, which departs three times a day and takes around 7 hours.
Private chauffeurs can be organised to take you directly from the airport to Lencois.
Once in Lençóis, the easiest way to explore is by hiring a tour guide, who can customize your itinerary based on your interests.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is the airport in Lencois (no big planes land here) and the flight takes 1 hour from Salvador .
Otherwise you fly to Salvador, Bahia (Brasil) and take a 7 hour bus trip to Lencois.
Getting Around
The Posada Vila Serrano is 300 meters from the village center so an easy stroll down the hill and over the small river into the village center.
