Did you know there are so many places to hike in Vegas? We have beautiful mountains only 4o minute drive from our home.
Kayak into Emerald Caves. This is a fun experience. As you paddle down between the mountains, you can often see mountain goats along the way.
Look closely! While kayaking through the canyon (Emerald Caves / Willow Beach Tour) you can see various desert wildlife including big horn sheep, fox, coyotes, as well as desert rabbits, hawks and falcons
Red Rock Canyon is Las Vegas’ most stunning natural escape. Just 15 minutes from our home where you can hike (in cooler temps) or simply drive the scenic loop. You'll want to see this desert gem is right in our city’s backyard.
If you're done with the neon lights of The Strip and need a dose of nature, Zion National Park just two hours from your “home.” You can choose to hike along a path through The Narrows (see next pic) or drive the loop and take in the humbling and majestic jaw dropping views. It's one of our favorite getaways.
There's hockey and then there's Las Vegas style hockey. It' s a party with sports ;-) Even if you're not a hockey fan, it's one of the most fun live sports experiences in the city.

The Fremont Experience - These LED lights stretches five blocks above Fremont Street, pulsing with color, animation, and perfectly synced music every night. It’s loud, electric, and unapologetically Vegas.
Love to golf like Darryl does?! Lush courses are often unexpected in the desert, but Las Vegas golf courses are beautiful and framed by rugged desert landscapes and palm trees, They’re impeccably maintained and designed to impress.
Craig Ranch Park is a lush, wide-open oasis in the desert, known for its winding walking paths, expansive green lawns, ponds with ducks and turtles, and several "themed" playgrounds for kids of every age. It’s where locals go to breathe, move, and slow the pace.

Bryce Canyon is famous for its towering natural stone spires carved by wind, water, and time (called hoodoos) Stay until sunset and watch the magic happen!
