Neighbourhood

We live in a typical picturesque west of Ireland coastal village. Nestled along the Atlantic coast sitting at the edge of the beautiful Killala Bay, we live in a village that provides stunning views, rich history, and has a very peaceful, small-town atmosphere. We are surrounded by beautiful unspoiled beaches and coastal cliffs. Killala Bay is a a haven for nature lovers and anglers. The village boasts a magnificent Round Tower and several nearby medieval friaries such as Moyne Abbey and Rosserk Friary. Though small, Killala has a strong sense of community and retains traditional Irish charm. We have 5 local pubs, a great restaurant, local shops and festivals that celebrate the heritage of this quiet but captivating little town.

Nearest airport

Knock airport is 40mins by car, Shannon airport is 2hr 10min by car, Dublin airport is 3hr by car.

Getting Around

We are within 300m walking distance to a fantastic restaurant, local pubs, pharmacy, small supermarket, post office, and shops. Ballina is the nearest large town and is 15min drive from our house, Ballina has a large number of large supermarkets, shops, restaurants, tourist centre, pubs, arts centre etc. There are beaches within 4km from our house.
