My house is located in a Magic Town called Parras de la Fuente in México. Vines have been grown and wine produced there since 1597, making it the oldest living winery in the New World and the sixth oldest in the world.
In this Magical Town of Coahuila, you can tour its temples and mansions, as well as its fantastic wine-producing haciendas. You can enjoy a stroll downtown, a carriage ride or grab a bite at the delicious local restaurants.
The Space
The house is new, which means it´s not located at the heart of the town (just 15 min away). The house have 2 floors with 4 bedrooms (1 downstairs), 6 beds and 1 sofa bed. You can fit up to 12 adults and 2 children. Each bedroom have a full bathroom. Downstairs the living room, dining room and kitchen are arranged in an open concept. There is a pool, a pizza oven and BBQ corner.
Guest Access
Two floor house with stairs. There is a bedroom in the lower floor.
Notes
Thus, while in the world's great metropolises people still lit their nights with candles and oil lamps, in Parras—in Mexico, in Latin America—electric light was turned on for the first time.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is not as pretty. The house is located at the entrance of the town, 15 minutes away from downtown.
Getting to my home
The best way to get there is by plane to Torreón, Coahuila and rent a car or get a bus to the town (1h 40 min. away).
Nearest airport
Torreón International Airport Francisco Sarabia
Getting Around
I recommend you rent a car to get to the town from Torreón. Once in the town, Parras is small and can move around easily. Everything is in short distance and once in downtown, everything is walking distance.

SYDNEY
Hi everyone! I´m new at this way of traveling. I am trying to check my bucket list of places to visit around the world. In exchange I have some places of my own in different parts of México and in the United States that are worth visiting. I normally travel with my mom and my 6 year old son.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
