My daughter says a trampoline in the garden is essential, but this is negotiable! We would happily settle for a garden. We would also be open to weekend breaks in UK homes 2 - 3 hours of West London

General Overview

River views, with beautiful sunsets from the large, west facing windows and balcony. Explore London and relax overlooking the river at the end of the day. We are looking for a UK or European swap, suitable for a young family. We are also open to weekend breaks within 2 - 3 hours of London throughout the year. This is the perfect way to explore London with a family, and have a relaxing home overlooking the river to come back to. (with a great coffee machine). Gentrified area of West Central London. Gorgeous coffee shops, restaurants and a wine tasting bar on our friendly high street. 4 minute walk to train station, and from there very frequent trains take just 14 minutes to Waterloo, right in the centre. (For theatres, London eye, Dungeons, Aquarium, Parliament etc). A 15 minute walk (or short bus/uber to Clapham Junction train station for direct link to Gatwick Express, or national rail links) Easy local bus right outside takes you to Victoria Coach station, access to museums Paid parking available in complex, but you really don't need a car to stay here, the buses stop 1 minute away!) 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bedroom set up for 2 small children. Could provide a bed for an older child if required If you want to explore the museums, theatres and parks of London, this is a great place for a family.

We have a bright, warm, family home, with 2 spacious cots and high chairs available. Lift access so prams welcome! Beautifully maintained quiet shared gardens for a run around at the end of a day exploring. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 large kids bedroom All on one level.

6th floor. Lift access so no problems for a pram

Notes

We have 2 young children, so this place is ideal for a young family, or couple wanting to explore everything London has to offer. If coming from overseas, it is so easy from Gatwick on the Gatwick express, or Victoria is a bus ride away if coming by coach. There is also a Virgin Active in the building, if you are a member.

Neighbourhood

Friendly, gentrified area with tonnes of coffee shops, restaurants on our local high street. A 10 minute walk away is a local mall, with toddler/baby soft play area (happy to share details of all the toddler activities nearby), with all the usual food outlets, shops, go cart racing track etc,

Getting to my home

Gatwick Express direct to Clapham Junction (then 1 stop to Wandsworth Town, right by our house. Buses from outside our complex go straight to Waterloo coach station for national and European coaches. Heathrow is a longer taxi journey, but our side of town! There is secure paid parking available in our car park within the building, with family and disabled spaces. But London doesnt need a car!

Gatwick (come via Gatwick Express direct to Clapham Junction)

Getting Around

Everything is in walking distance! With or without a pram. Train takes you to Waterloo to all the tourist spots in central London in just 14 minutes, or buses directly outside to get to museums etc.
