General Overview
We live in the perfect SB location on the upper Mesa in a quiet neighborhood. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath house sits on a hill with ocean and Channel Islands views, fruit trees, a private landscaped backyard, and three patios. We can walk to five parks, beaches, and multiple shopping centers with groceries, fresh produce, 10+ restaurants, convenience store, Starbucks, liquor, pharmacy, brew pub, gas station, car wash, etc. By car we are 5 minutes from multiple beaches, 2 miles from downtown where there are museums, shopping, theatre's, restaurants, wine tasting, microbreweries, night clubs, and dancing.
The Amtrak train station is less than 2 miles away downtown.
For recreation the area has beaches, hiking, surfing, e-bike and stand up paddle board rentals, as well as a sailing center, fishing and scuba diving tours, skateboard parks, ice skating rink, public pool, pickleball and tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields.
The Space
The house sits on a hill with views of the ocean and is up 22 steps to the front door as well as an adjoining patio. The house has an open floor plan with the living room to the left with tv, stereo and fireplace. The dining room seats six around the table. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and opens into a breakfast nook, table and seating for two. There is a desk and laundry area. The dining and kitchen open up to a patio with table and four chairs for dining and relaxing outdoors.
Down the hall there are two bedrooms on the right, with full beds in each. A full bathroom with tub and shower combination is on the left. At the end of the hall is the master suite with a king sized water bed and bathroom with walk in shower. The master has sliding doors that connect to a private patio.
The back yard is private with hills on two sides. There is off street parking for two cars.
Guest Access
The house sits on a hill with ocean views on the west side of the house. There are 22 steps up to the front door and then the house is one level.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is quiet. We can walk about half mile to four parks and multiple shopping centers with two grocery stores, fresh produce, 10+ restaurants, convenience store, coffee houses, bagels, liquor, pharmacy, brew pub, gas station, car wash, etc.
Getting to my home
Coming from the South: take Hwy 101 to Carillo off-ramp.
Coming from the North: take Hwy 101 to Las Positas off-ramp.
Nearest airport
. The Santa Barbara Airport is 10 miles from our house and Alaska, United, American, Delta, and Southwest fly into our airport. Rental cars agencies are available there as well.
Another option is to fly into Los Angeles Airport (82 miles away) and take a Santa Barbara Airbus to the old Sears building, which is 2.5 miles from the house.
Getting Around
Walking less than a half mile one can get groceries, produce, coffee/tea, restaurants, pharmacy, liquor, and three parks. E-bike rentals are available within half mile and around town at multiple locations. There are three beaches from .7 to 2.2 miles away.
Within half mile is a local bus stop that has routes around town, to University of CA at Santa Barbara (10 miles), Santa Barbara City College (1.6 miles), harbor and waterfront, downtown, and to the neighboring towns of Goleta, Montecito, Summerland & Carpinteria.
Uber, Lyft, or taxi is also an option. Additionally there are e-bike rentals about half mile away.
The Amtrak train station is 1.6 miles away.
