Christy and I are the kind of couple who treat Google Maps like a treasure map and boutique hotels like sacred ground. We chase good food, better art, and the kind of beaches that make you consider quitting your job forever. We have a soft spot for the offbeat and the underrated, and we travel with equal parts curiosity and sarcasm. From local dive bars to hilltop villages, we seek out experiences with soul — ideally with strong coffee in hand and absolutely zero interest in guided tours. People like us don’t just take trips; we curate adventures with a wink and a plan that probably changed three times before noon.
We live in Tesuque, New Mexico—an absurdly beautiful pocket of the world nestled in the hills just outside Santa Fe, where cottonwood trees sway, the skies can’t decide if theywant to be pink or gold, and sunsets are basically free therapy. On five acres of high desert bliss, we built our dream home from the ground up—equal parts modern sanctuary and homage to the land we love. Life here is quiet, soulful, and full of stars (both celestial and the occasional celebrity sighting at the Tesuque Village Market).
We’re also ridiculously lucky to have two grown kids we adore, a daughter-in-law who’s basically our spirit animal, and two granddaughters who have us wrapped around their little fingers in ways that should probably be illegal. Life’s full, messy, beautiful—and exactly how we like it.
