Robins Nest is built of Cotswold stone and is about one mile from the centre of Bath. The main train line to London and the south west of England is 20 minute walk away. Widcombe village is our closest shopping area with coffee shops pubs and other retail outlets. the garden centre there has a lovely little cafe hidden away too. Robins nest is a perfect private retreat for those visiting Bath and surrounding area. it has a good wifi speed for those needing to work. Our studio is quiet and sunny and comes with parking and level access. It is surrounded by lovely countryside full of trees and bird song.
The Space
The property is modern, light and airy. Cosy and comfortable, the "L" shaped living area has comfortable king-size divan bed, The lounge area has a large screen TV and fireplace. It has a fully equipped kitchen. A separate bathroom includes a shower.
Bi-fold doors open on to a sunny, south-facing terrace contained within a private garden.

Robins Nest is within walking distance of the historic city of Bath with its spa, theatre, restaurants and other attractions.
We have access to the Greenway Two Tunnels Cycleway at the bottom of the drive up to Robins Nest. From here you can cycle or walk along a dedicated traffic free route created from the former Somerset and Dorset Railway line to lovely villages in Somerset and Wiltshire like Bradford upon Avon. For those liking a longer ride you can cycle to Bristol and visit the SS Great Britain. Bikes can be hired in Bath very easily. The Georgian city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre and is famous for its Roman baths, hot springs, eighteenth century architecture and landscapes. It is one of the few places in Britain where it is possible to bathe in spa water direct from the hot springs. Prior Park National Trust landscape gardens have one of only four Palladian bridges in the world. These beautiful gardens and lakes are only 20 minutes walk from Robins Nest.
Nearby local centre, Widcombe, has two pubs and coffee bars.

Bath Spa is on the main railway line from London to Bristol and South West England. Bath station is a short taxi ride away from Robins Nest.
By car, Bath is about 130miles from London.

Bristol Airport is about 45 minutes away and there is an hourly "Bristol Flyer" bus service from the airport to Bath.

Jane Austen the celebrated author made Bath her home-from 1801- 1806 . She wrote about Bath in Northanger Abbey and Persuasion 2025 marks the 250 th birthday of one of Bath’s famous residents .. The festival takes place in September .
Pulteney Bridge is one of the most photographed examples of Georgian architecture in the city . Designed in 1769 by Robert Adam one of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its span . This is only 20 minutes walk away too.
Bath famous too for hot air balloons they take off from Royal Victoria Park near the Royal Crescent
Stonehenge and its famous stone circle built by Neolithic farming communities starting around 3100BC . This is a 40 min drive away.
Castle Combe , the Cotswolds are about 1hr away by car. This particular village used for filming .
Stourhead another National Trust property about 45 minutes drive away . Beautiful landscaped gardens designed in the 18th century. Lovely lakes temples and grottos . Well worth a visit

Our beautiful Theatre Royal. Lots of productions have a short run here before beginning in the West End of London .
The dedicated Greenway Two Tunnels cycleway which runs traffic free from the bottom of our drive follows the route of an old railway line. You can cycle into Bristol and access many of the lovely Somerset and Wiltshire towns villages and beautiful countryside.
