General Overview

Our home is new, clean, comfortable, and bright. It is located in a quiet new subdivision, just a short walk to everything you need in beautiful downtown Tofino. Restaurants, whale watching and fishing guides, kayaking, sea plane tours, and more are only a few blocks away. Take in the mountain and peekaboo harbour views from the open concept living area, enjoy a beverage on the heated covered deck, or relax in the private outdoor Western Red Cedar sauna (and cold plunge tub if you're feeling adventurous). We also have ample storage for your surf boards or bikes. There are seven beaches within a 15 minute drive, and we are just a few minutes walk from the 44km walking and biking bath that joins Tofino, Pacific Rim National Park, and Ucluelet. *Our home is a “Guest favourite” on Airbnb and ranked in the top 5% of homes on that platform based on ratings, reviews, and reliability. Please leave our home as you found it and we promise we will respect your home and do the same. Before every exchange we have our cleaners prepare the house. If you are unable to clean or don't have the time at the end of your stay we totally understand. In this case the cleaning fee is $180. We are open to Globe exchanges between October and April, but do ask for a $180 cleaning fee.

The Space

Our custom built home has an open concept living area with a heated and covered balcony off of the kitchen. There are three bedrooms - one with a king-sized bed and two with queen-sized beds. There are two full bathrooms, private laundry, and private storage. Local art can be found throughout the home. The house is fully stocked and ready for your visit. We welcome children, but our home is not “baby proofed” - there are stairs, electrical plugs, furniture is not bolted to the wall, etc. We also don’t supply a crib, high chair, etc.

Guest Access

Our home is two stories with two suites - you will have the entire upstairs and your own private half of the backyard. The long-term suite is downstairs.

Neighbourhood

Our home is in a quiet new neighbourhood, but we are just two blocks away from Tofino’s main street.

Nearest airport

The Harbour Air sea plane base is a 10 minute walk from our home. Tofino-Long Beach Airport is a 15 minute drive away. Vancouver Island can also be reached by BC Ferries. Tofino is about a 3 hour drive from the Departure Bay ferry terminal in Nanaimo.

Getting Around

Guests have two parking spots. Park the car and walk anywhere in downtown Tofino in 10 minutes or less. There is also a free beach shuttle in the summer. There are two stops 5 minutes from us.

  • We had a great time in Karli's beautiful home. The house is very tastefully decorated and absolutely clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything you need was provided. The location is perfect: quiet, in the middle of nature, yet close enough to easily reach Tofino and its charming cafes, restaurants and beaches. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the sea and the spectacular sunsets. Karli was a wonderful hostess – friendly and always easy to reach.   • We used a globe as a wedding present to our daughter and new husband so they stayed here for their honeymoon! They loved every minute of their stay after their wedding in Washington State.   • Karli’s home is a dream! So luxurious and well built, and the views off the deck were amazing! I loved being such a quick walk to Tofino Coffee, walking home with my coffee and drinking it on the (heated!!) deck with views of snow covered mountains and ocean! The beds were so comfortable and the whole beautiful home felt like home. We couldn’t possibly have a better location in Tofino- we walked everywhere and my kiddos loved playing in the school park after dinner! This was my favourite place we have ever stayed in Tofino. My health conscious husband loved the glass Tupperware, cotton sheets; and stainless steel pans- which is hard to find these days! The sauna was such a treat after a day at the beach. It was such a gift to my family. We are incredibly grateful to Karli for sharing her beautiful home with us ! Anyone who would get to stay here is so lucky!
