I’m not sure I could say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Catherine and Peter’s beautiful home in Warrenpoint. The view is incredible, and one of my favorite things was simply starting and ending our day sitting by the window with a cup of tea, watching the world go by. There was always something happening, yet the area itself was wonderfully quiet and peaceful.
The location couldn’t have been better. We could walk just a block or so “around the corner” to restaurants, pubs, shops, and the grocery store. Being able to step outside and walk along the prominade was so relaxing and peaceful. There’s also a nice park with a stunning gazebo right next door that connects to a beautiful boutique hotel with three restaurants. We ate at two and they were both delicious! We enjoyed exploring the surrounding towns too—finding good food and taking in the wonderful mix of old and new.
The house itself is beautiful, with a thoughtful remodel that keeps the character and charm of the original home while bringing in a fresh, clean, modern feel. It was comfortable, welcoming, and easy to settle into.
And then there’s Catherine and Peter. They were wonderful hosts, and our communication with Catherine was so easy and warm from start to finish. As a fun coincidence, we discovered that Catherine and Scott share the same birthday, and each were celebrating their birthday in the other’s home—which we all got a kick out of! We only wish we could have met Catherine and Peter in person, and hope that maybe someday an opportunity will present itself.
I could go on, but this is one of those places you really have to experience for yourself.

Your home was equally amazing and we couldn't have wished for anything more. Simply stunning. Thank you so much for allowing us the privilege of staying in it. It was great to celebrate my birthday 🎂 in your home and to know Scott was blowing out his candles in our home.
