Just a short 3-5 minute walk away, you can enjoy swimming from the dock in the fjord. It’s the perfect place to unwind and cool off during the summer months.
Located just 10 minutters drive from Holbæk city you’ll have easy access to both nature, shopping and local experiences. We love sharing our home with fellow travelers and look forward to welcoming you
Welcome to my charming cabin, located in a peaceful and scenic area near fjords and forests, offering the perfect blend of nature and relaxation. This is an ideal spot for those looking to unwind while still having access to exciting day trips and cultural experiences.
I will soon be listing two other homes. One placed on a little danish island called Bornholm. It is the most spectacular place with stunning nature and tourists from Denmark, Germany and the northern countries are visiting the same island every year because of the inviting and peaceful atmosphere that defines Bornholm.
Experience the Magic of Bornholm – A Danish Island Escape
Nestled in the Baltic Sea, Bornholm is often referred to as “Denmark’s Sunshine Island” – and for good reason. With its dramatic rocky coastlines, white sandy beaches, deep forests, and charming villages, Bornholm offers a unique blend of nature, history, and modern Nordic living. Unlike anywhere else in Denmark, the island feels like a world of its own – peaceful, authentic, and full of soul.
Whether you’re cycling along the scenic coastal paths, exploring ancient round churches, or tasting locally made chocolates, cheeses, and smoked herring, Bornholm has something for every curious traveler. The pace of life here is slower, the skies wider, and the sea never far away.

Stay in Svaneke – Bornholm’s Most Charming Seaside Town
Welcome to Svaneke – a picturesque harbor town on the eastern coast of Bornholm, known for its well-preserved half-timbered houses, local artisan shops, and creative spirit. Svaneke has been awarded the title of “Denmark’s most beautiful town” and is famous for its relaxed atmosphere, strong sense of community, and sunny microclimate.
In the heart of this charming town lies a small, cozy house with room for up to 5 guests. It’s the perfect base for discovering the best of Bornholm – whether you’re wandering down to the harbor for fresh ice cream, exploring nearby cliffs and beaches, or enjoying a quiet evening on the terrace with the sound of the sea in the distance.
The house combines traditional Danish charm with modern comfort, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends seeking a peaceful retreat with character
Furthermore our home in a city called Ålsgårde near the town of Helsingør will also be listed in a few days.
Discover the Danish Riviera – Summer in Helsingør, Ålsgårde, and Hornbæk
Just a short drive north of Copenhagen, the coastline around Helsingør unfolds like a hidden gem of Northern Europe. With long summer days and mild temperatures, this area offers a refreshing escape from the intense heat of Dubai.
Helsingør, home to the majestic Kronborg Castle – famously known as Hamlet’s castle – is a charming historical town with cobbled streets, boutique shops, and harbor cafés where you can enjoy fresh seafood with views across the Øresund Strait to Sweden.
A few minutes up the coast, Ålsgårde offers a peaceful, residential atmosphere surrounded by forests and beaches. It’s a perfect place for slow mornings, coastal walks, and enjoying the Danish concept of “hygge” – that unique blend of coziness and contentment.
Further along the coast lies Hornbæk, one of Denmark’s most beloved beach towns. In summer, it comes alive with local markets, ice cream stalls, open-air cafés, and stylish boutiques. The white sandy beach and shallow, swimmable waters make it ideal for families and sunseekers alike. Surfing, paddleboarding, and sailing are all part of the seaside rhythm here.
With clean air, a relaxed pace of life, and picture-perfect nature, this part of Denmark – often called the Danish Riviera – offers a unique blend of Scandinavian charm and summer serenity.
