General Overview

Our spacious duplex apartment is in the lovely village of Prangins, located 20mins away from Geneva airport with excellent public transportation links nearby. Within easy reach by public transportation or by car, the region offers a wide array of touristic sites and beautiful spots to enjoy nature & the mountains! Geneva - 30mins Lausanne - 45mins Montreux / Vevey - 1hr The Prangins / Nyon area itself is wonderful in the summer - hiking in the mountains, swimming in the lake, music festivals and cultural events, etc Not to mention, you can easily hop onto a train for a weekend visit to: Basel, Bern, Zurich, Lucerne (accessible in 2-3hrs)... or even Paris (4hrs) and Milan (5hrs)

The Space

Our home is distributed over 2 levels with 3 bedrooms (1 master + 2 kids' rooms) and 2 bathrooms. We have a separate TV room in the upstairs mezzanine as well as an office which can also be used as a guest bedroom. We have an open-plan kitchen / living room + dining room. Our main balcony, which offers a great view of the Jura mountains, can be used for eating outside during summer and there is a fireplace for winter evenings. As a duplex, our place has amazing high ceilings and plenty of light!

The apartment is on the second (top) floor of a building with 9 units in total. There is an elevator.

Notes

We own a cat and would not recommend our place for anyone with allergies.

We live in a lush, family-friendly neighborhood which is extremely safe and quiet. There is a playground accessible to children nearby.

Nearest airport

Geneva Airport is 20mins away by car and 45min by public transportation.

Getting Around

Our car will be available for use during our absence, but public transportation works well in the area. There is a bus stop two blocks from our house and the nearest train station (Nyon) is 15mins walk.
