🌟 About Our Home & Flexibility: Welcome to our beautifully renovated, double-glazed Lockwood holiday home in the premier beach resort town of Pauanui, Coromandel, New Zealand. Because this is our secondary family property, we can offer incredible flexibility. We are open to non-simultaneous exchanges, Pluto or Globe token swaps. The property is uniquely situated on a large, flat section featuring excellent indoor/outdoor flow, extensive sunny decking on both sides, and plenty of parking. It is perfectly designed for larger families or groups traveling together who want a mix of social spaces and privacy. 🛏️ The Accommodation Layout You will have full access to both fully renovated, modern dwellings on the property: The Main House (Sleeps up to 7): 3 Bedrooms (1 x King bed, 1 x Queen bed, and 1 x Single-over-Queen bunk bed) Full modern kitchen, bright open-plan living, and dining areas that flow directly out onto sunny covered decks on both sides. 1 Bathroom + a convenient separate toilet The Guest House / Sleepout: A newly renovated, fully double-glazed separate 2-bedroom guest house / sleepout. Features 1 x Queen bed and 1 x King Single bed, providing an excellent private retreat. Includes its own convenient kitchenette for morning coffees and light meals. 🏄‍♂️ Complimentary Coastal "Toys" & Amenities We love the outdoor lifestyle here and invite our exchange guests to fully utilise all of our gear to get the authentic Kiwi experience, rain or shine: For the Surf & Turf: Full access to our bikes, boogie boards, beach toys, and golf clubs. For Rainy Days: Unlimited high-speed fibre broadband, plus a huge selection of books, board games, and DVDs. Comforts: Extensive outdoor decking for summer BBQs and plenty of on-site parking. 📍 Prime Location & Lifestyle (Leave the Car Behind Locally!) Our home is in an unbeatable, central spot where the very best of Pauanui is just a short, flat stroll away: The Ocean: Just a 2-minute walk to the Surf Club and the gorgeous ocean beach. The Estuary: A gentle 5-minute walk to the estuary, perfect for calmer waters, pontoon and wharf jumping and watching spectacular Coromandel sunsets. On Your Doorstep: Immediate access to Pauanui's famous bike paths and scenic bush walks (including the Mt Pauanui summit track and the Tairua trail). Town Hub: Minutes from our local bakery, classic fish and chip shop, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, and mini-golf. The town also boasts numerous playgrounds for kids and golf courses for the adults. Pauanui also has it's own small airstrip ✈️ 🚗 Getting Around & Transport A rental car is required to get to Pauanui from the international airport (Auckland is about a 2-hour drive) and to explore the wider Coromandel Peninsula. Once you arrive at the property, you can easily walk or use our bikes for all your daily trips to the beach, cafes, and shops. Perfect Base For: Driving day trips to world-famous Coromandel icons like Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. It's all here just waiting for you!
