General overview
Our house is at the crossroads of 3 sites: Lyon, the land of Dombes, the Beaujolais vineyard. Quiet environment. It is located 40 minutes from Lyon airport, in a small rural town of 650 inhabitants.
The space
Our house is spacious (150m²) and bright with a large and beautiful fitted kitchen, open to the living room. Our 35 m2 living room faces the garden and the 130m² terrace. Two of the bedrooms open onto the terrace and the garden. The others on the street side (however, there is not much traffic noise!). The beds are comfortable with mattresses changed in 2015. The house has 5 bedrooms + 1 mezzanine.
The three children's bedrooms have 90 wide single beds. Be careful however, in one of the rooms, there is a high bed (1.60m) and in another a semi-high bed (1.2m). it is therefore not suitable for young children.
In the bedroom with the bunk bed, there is also a sofa bed (but which when unfolded leaves little room in the bedroom). In the master bedroom, a double bed of 160 electric. In the guest bedroom and the mezzanine, there are also 160 cm sofa beds.
The master bedroom has a dressing room (where we always free up some space) and a personal bathroom. The second bathroom is reserved for children.
Our garden is full of charm with a large trampoline (4.3m in diameter) and a large swing (3m high). The deckchairs welcome you in the summer as well as a ping-pong table. To shelter you from the sun or simply to eat outside, the plane tree mulberry brings you natural shade, however, you can also take a large parasol. A gas barbecue allows you to grill quickly in the summer. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly.
We have 3 young cats (about 1 year old), so they will need to be taken care of.

Notes
Quiet place but a little isolated because you have to take the car to go to the bakery (5kms) or the supermarket (8kms). In Trévoux, there is everything you need (pharmacy, dentist, doctor, radiologist, banks, post office, food, ...). But the fridges/freezers are there for shopping and storing fresh food for the week!
Lyon is 35-40kms away, depending on traffic, it takes 40 minutes to 1 hour to get to the city center depending on traffic. Possibility also to go to the Saint Germain station at Mont d'Or to take the train to Lyon.
The 8.20m x 4.70m above ground wooden swimming pool dates from 2017.

Neighbourhood
Lyon, with so much to do / visit (the parc de la tête d'or, the basilica of fourvière, the cathedral of Saint Jean, old Lyon, place Bellecour, the museum of the confluence, ...)
The Pays de la Dombes with its hundreds of ponds, its bird park (20 mins), the zoo and water park of Touroparc (35 mins), the old town of Chatillon sur Chalaronne, not far from the town of Pérouge, a medieval village ( 30mn), or even the Balme caves (1h).
The country of Beaujolais with its vineyards (brouillis, chénas, morgon, juliénas, ...) for wine lovers, otherwise very nice walks to do in Beaujolais, the Monts du Lyonnais or the Monts d'Or.
Possibility of shopping on the markets of Neuville sur Saône on Friday morning or Trévoux on Saturday morning.
