General Overview

Our charming vacation home is located in a peaceful residential area along the Belgian coast, just a 15-minute walk from the beach. It has been a place of many wonderful memories, both for us and our house exchange guests. It is fully equipped and features a small garden with a terrace and a carport. The Space

The house comfortably accommodates 6 people with the following sleeping arrangements: one large bedroom with a double bed, two children's rooms each with one bed, and an attic space with a bunk bed. The attic is a versatile area with plenty of room to play (toys are available), a bathtub, and a desk for work or study. In addition to the attic bath, there is a bathroom with a shower and WC on the first floor. On the ground floor, you'll find a separate WC with a hand basin.

Guest Access

The house is a row house with a ground floor, 1st floor and an attic. In front there is a carport and at 50 m there is a playground with also parking. At 200 m there is a larger parking lot with public charging stations for electric cars.

The direct surroundings are quiet, child-friendly, and car-free, with a playground just 3 houses away.. The location is also a perfect base to explore the Belgian coast,. Interesting cities like Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, and Brussels all within an hour and a half drive. For those wishing to venture further, Paris, London, and Amsterdam are just a few hours away.

Getting Around

ON FOOT - beach (Koning Ridderdijk 68): 1.4 km - Best ice cream stand on the beach (Cocorico, Koning Ridderdijk 17): 1.8 km BY BIKE - Bikes can be parked in the bike shed in the neighborhood, a large covered carport. Bikes can, also under carport for our house, but not in / through the house. - Nearest bike rental: Joli Sport, Essex Scottishlaan 26, Westende-Village (600 m). TRAM - stop Westende Sint Laureins (1,1 km) - Westende bath stop (1.6 km) BUSES - village square (A. Meynneplein, 200 m) - less frequent than coastal tram TRAIN - trainstation in Oostende: 14 km (you can get there by bus or tram)
