Whether you're searching for family fun or adult vacation, our home is set on a very private 4 acres, surrounded by a six foot tall privacy fence, 15 minutes from MGM/ National Harbor and 30 minutes to Washington DC! Our 3 bedroom/ 2.5 home features amenities include large pool, outdoor jacuzzi, gazebo, fire pit, pool House lounge/bar area.
Our home also has thriving garden in the spring summer and fall, a super snuggly dog that provide lots of entertainment and security!
Despite being in the woods, we are also just a few minutes from grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, and even a couple of Starbucks. Our house is a 30 minute drive from downtown DC or a 1 Hour drive Baltimore, MD. We are a 2hour train ride to Philly and a 3.5 hour train ride to New York City. We have a car we may be willing to loan as well. We are close to the National Harbour, the Chesapeake Bay, and so much more! We love our city and are excited to share it with you!

National Harbor (NH) is a resort waterfront that is 15 minutes away. NH features Gaylord National (a combined resort and convention center), Observation Wheel, Tanger Outlets, Boating, ... MGM (offers world class entertainment). NH has regular water taxi schedules to/from Old Town Alexandria, Georgetown, and Mount Vernon along the Potomac in addition to cruises and charters. NH also has farmers market, outdoor movies, concerts, and fireworks weekly in the summer time and ice sculptures during the winter holidays.
Alexandria is a 15 minutes drive. Many wonderful venues of concerts, performances, films, and children programs are available every week all year round; most of these have free admission. There are city bike rental and scooter programs (bike friendly city) as well as other retails of bike rentals, Segway, and rentals for canoes, kayaks, and sail boats. There are plentiful restaurants of all nationalities. Washington may be unique in that more than 170 embassies are located here. Several embassies often host cultural events in addition to 50+ museums. The city has a diverse population with many educated internationally, young and old as well as many children. A wonderful cultural city with natural surroundings ... one can visit again and again.
Some ideas for day trips: Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay is a 45-minute and Baltimore is an hour drive. NEW YORK CITY is 4.5 hrs and Philadelphia is 3 hrs; coach bus services are affordable and available to both cities includes frequent and early/late schedules. Atlantic Ocean is 2.5-hrs away & Shenandoah Mountains are 2-hrs. Colonial Williamsburg is 3-hrs and Thomas Jefferson's home is a 2.5-hrs.
We have three small bedrooms, two with queen beds, and one with a twin over full bunkbed, and 2 full baths , and one half bath. Our home comes with a very friendly dog (who stays outdoors in dog house), and gardens in the growing season (April-October).
Access to space will be provided via door keycode.
There is one bedroom on the first floor and 2 on the second floor.
Pool is only available from May- Mid September. While staying at our home, we kindly request that you care for our dog who will be in outdoor dog house (about 10 minutes total every 3 days) by just refilling his water and food, and give our gardens some water 2-3x per week depending on the time of year.
