Amara
My name is Amara. My husband, Dave and I are empty nesters. I was born and raised in Pebble Beach. Dave grew up in Carmel and Carmel Valley. Dave has a local Flow Meter/Engineering business, and I am retired. I enjoy travel and gardening. I am a docent trainee at Point Lobos State Reserve. I volunteer with our dog, Dolly for therapy dogs at the local university, CSUMB and other schools. Dave loves playing the piano, guitar and magic. We have one adult daughter who lives in San Diego. We have 2 dogs, Dolly, Mini Sheepadoodle and Meeko, a Pomeranian mix. We also have 2 cats, Valentina and Chunky. I travel often solo and I can accommodate last minute trips. I am happy to host anytime I am home. We have completed over 35 house exchanges in the past on a different platform, We have started to host travelers from the Facebook group, Host a Sister. We have hosted 2 sets of mother/daughter travelers through the group and have had a wonderful experience connecting with new people from around the world.
