General Overview

1940s Rambler very quaint in a wonderful community full of young families and next to a big park! Private backyard and covered patio! Lots of gardens, flowers and vegetables! We do have 2 indoor/outdoor cats that are very sweet and would love to have them cared for while you are here.

The Space

There are two fully furnished bedrooms, one with a Queen Bed and one with a Twin Bed. There is an additional space that I use as my home office and will eventually have as a 3 bedroom. Currently I have not furnished the bedroom part but we do have an extra twin mattress that can be used.

Guest Access

1 Floor, stairs to get in the front and backdoor.

Neighbourhood

Our home is nestled in a peaceful and inviting neighborhood near Hillcrest Park, one of Mount Vernon's cherished green spaces. We love how Hillcrest Park brings the community together, offering scenic woodland trails, a playground for the kids, and plenty of open spaces for picnics or a friendly game of basketball. We often find ourselves enjoying the tranquility and beauty the park provides. The Skagit Valley is a stunning region in the Pacific Northwest, celebrated for its natural beauty and vibrant local culture. Nestled between the North Cascades and Puget Sound, it boasts a unique mix of lush farmland, winding rivers, and breathtaking mountain views. The area is famous for its tulip fields, which burst into brilliant colors every spring during the world-renowned Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Spring. Beyond the flowers, the valley offers outdoor adventures like hiking, kayaking, and birdwatching. Its charming towns, such as Mount Vernon, La Conner, and Anacortes, are filled with welcoming communities, art galleries, and farm-to-table dining experiences. Whether you're exploring the Skagit River, venturing to the San Juan Islands, hiking in the North Cascades or enjoying a stroll in a quaint downtown, the Skagit Valley is a place that inspires and delights.
