General Overview

Our spacious apartment is surrounded by greenery. It’s situated in an upscale area of Cologne surrounded by family homes and villas. The biggest park of Cologne (Stadtwald) with its' own petting zoo is just 10 min from us. Also, you have different grocery stores and the biggest mall of Cologne just around the corner. There’s free on-street parking in front of our building with lots of space. The apartment is on the 1st floor, however, there’s also a lift in the building. Thus if you’re traveling with small children and buggy it’s not an issue. The apartment was just refurbished in 2022. Cologne is one of the biggest cities in Germany with lots of things to do, but also a good location for day trips to the Netherlands or to different hiking destinations. We like to keep our apartment clean and organized. Usually we have a cleaning lady coming on weekly basis which we can agree for your stay as well. We expect our guests to treat our apartment with respect which we will be doing likewise with yours.

The Space

We have lots of space in the apartment (128sqm) for up to 4 or 5 adults and one toddler/child. There’s a main bedroom with a 180cm double bed, another bedroom with a single bed opening to a 160cm bed and the kids room with a loft bed and lots of toys. The sofa in the living room also opens to a sofa bed. There’s a main bathroom and a guest toilet. Our kitchen is equipped with everything you’d wish for including Thermomix, air fryer and Nespresso machine. Our balcony boasts a Weber BBQ grill as well as a beefer and pizza oven.

Guest Access

We live on the 1st floor, you can either walk up one flight of stairs or use the elevator.

Notes

Please note, we don’t eat pork or seafood and would appreciate if our guests don’t use those products in our kitchen either.

The apartment is situated 15 min from the city center. There’s a direct tram going to the city center and an overground train going to the main station. We have one discounter (Penny) which is in walking distance. There are more shops (Aldi, Lidl, Rewe) in 5 min driving distance.

Esmiralda-Victoria

We're Sammy (33), Esmiralda (38) and David Leo (3) from Cologne. Sammy works in retail management, Esmiralda works in banking. We're passionate about cooking and hosting which you can easily see looking at our kitchen and dining area. Even before our son has arrived we've been passionate travelers. He has joined us on several trips within Europe and abroad. We prefers long weekend trips in driving distance from Cologne or and are open to other destinations for 1-2 weeks.
