I love my apartment's historic charm—there’s a timeless quality that makes it feel grounded and full of character. The neighborhood is incredibly diverse, which is one of the things that makes it feel like real LA—there’s a mix of young and old, people from all walks of life, and a vibrant mix of ethnicities. It’s a celebration of what makes LA unique.
A perk is how close I am to Koreatown, with all its amazing eats and nightlife, but without being in the center of the chaos. The space itself is decorated with all my collected treasures from years of traveling—art, design, vintage finds, and pieces from flea markets and antique shops. It’s a comfortable, functional home, but with an eclectic, warm, and very personal touch. I'm a creative director, so have an extensive library on graphic design, architecture, interior design, ceramics, landscaping, ikebana, travel, and the healing arts.
The Space
It's the front unit, first floor but on a grassy hill high above from the sidewalk of pedestrians. Has its own stoop leading into the shared outdoor courtyard. Thick plaster walls and doesn't share many walls with other units—makes it very private. Complex only has 4 other units, so it's a relatively quiet community of folks.
Loads of natural light flooding in throughout the day, and plenty of warm mood lighting after the sun sets. High speed wi-fi for work from home needs, as well as a dedicated work space if needed. Very equipped kitchen as I love food and cooking myself. A smart TV and two couches, a queen bed in sleeping quarters, and bathroom has a separate bathtub and standing shower. Lots of plants indoors as well as in the courtyard!

I'm Anastasia, born and raised in Los Angeles. I've traveled all over the world, but California is always my grounding home to recharge and nurture myself in between. My spacious casita in Central LA is a charming Spanish Colonial Revival-style 1-bedroom with a separate dining room, large kitchen, and an iconic pink bathroom with a soaking tub. The bedroom is a serene retreat, and the shared outdoor patio is perfect for soaking up the sun. There’s a dedicated workspace (though I often take calls at the dining room). This place has hosted many dinner parties, intimate chats, and music sessions. Whether you want to hit the beach, explore Eastside's hikes and trendy spots, or enjoy Koreatown's eats and nightlife, it's all just a short drive away. Come stay, and I'll share LA's hidden gems.
