The apartment is located within walking distance of 3 supermarkets, a shopping center, a pharmacy and a river with a walking path.
Akureyri has the most forested areas prepared for relaxation and recreation, with beautiful views and amenities such as toilets, benches and picnic areas. There are various trekking paths and bicycle paths here. There are two places nearby with hot-tubes at the black beaches, from which you can directly enter the sea and swim. There is also a place for a beer bath. Akureyri is a base for short and long trips, to the famous Myvatn, Godafoss, whale watching trips, and many more.

Akureyri, 10 minutes' drive from the downtown
Getting Around
A shopping mall and grocery stores are a 10-minute walk away.
Downtown / restaurants/cafes, ice cream parlors,
confectionery shop in 15 minutes on foot, by bus, by scooter.
