Isabel’s apartment was perfect for our mini-break in Sydney. Just the right size for the two of us to relax in comfort between outings. Neat, clean and well organised. Plenty of transport options, and lots of great places to eat. We loved the sourdough bakery cafe right across the street, and the hotel around the corner served a good variety of meals.
Communication with Isabel was always easy. We had a great stay, and highly recommended Isabel’s Alexandria apartment.
Thank you, Bonnie and Graham. I am glad that you had a good time. You are welcome to come back any time!

The unit is impressive in a fantastic location. Close to everything Sydney has to offer.
As has been our consistent experience on this platform, Isabel and Matthias were ideal guests! Communication with them was timely and thorough from start to finish. They were especially helpful given tight turnarounds at both the beginning and end of their stay, leaving the apartment in perfect condition for the next guests, who arrived on the evening of their departure. They have our highest recommendation for their future exchanges!
All the best, Isabel and Matthias!

We had a very pleasant stay at Jane’s home in Mornington. The area is beautiful and we walked daily along the coast to beautiful beaches and to the village and the port. The house is comfortable, has everything you need and is very well located.

Hello. I am Spanish, my husband is Dutch and we live in greater Sydney, in Hawkesbury, Australia.
I am a retired teacher and my husband is a university professor. Our children have left home, although our son comes and goes. From time to time we travel with our son. We travel in Australia, but our long trips are always to Spain and the Netherlands, to visit family and friends and to connect with our cultural heritage.
We like hiking, rowing, nature, reading, art, crafts, music, food and also urban culture. We are non-smoking and calm people; careful of our things and surroundings, and we hope that those who come to our house are also careful.
We have a pottery studio at the back of the garden and a kiln, which people can use.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
