We are located 10 minutes north from a quaint little town of Dominical, known as a world class surfing destination.

Manuel Antonio National Park is about 30 minutes away (we are about 20 minutes away from Quepos).

The Space

The house is spaced out across two floors. The first floor features an open concept kitchen an dliving room, a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. The second floor features a very big master bedroom with a big desk that can be used as a workstation. A beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean is also located on the second floor. One can see the ocean from the master bedroom as well. All in all the house is about 2100 sq feet under roof (includng all the carpot and the terraces).

This is our vacation home and we have a professional property managemnt company looking after the property when we are away. For non reciprocal exchanges, 100USD cleaning fee might apply, this can be payble directly to the property management company either upon your arrival or departure (we can agree on the details).

Neighbourhood

The house is located in a quaint little town of Hatillo, Puntarenas Province. We are located 10 minutes drive north from Dominical and 20 minutes drive south from Quepos.

Getting to my home

The property is located on a mountain, only 3 minutes drive from the main highway (the Costanera). You would need a 4x4 car to access the property. We are open to renting our vehicle which is a brand new Mitsubishi Montero Sport, 7 seater, 4x4, diesel vehicle.

Nearest airport

The nearest international airport is located in San Jose (SJO) and is about 3 hours drive from the property. There is also a domestic airport in Quepos and its only 20 minutes drive from th eproperty and the local flight takes only 20 minutes (please note that there are some lugagge restrictions on the domestic flights).

Getting Around

You would need a car to access local beaches, shops, restaurants, etc. There are super fabulous restaraunts in Dominical and Uvita. There are also several really good restaraunts in the village itself but its better to use the car to go up and down the mountain. 4WD vehicle is highly recommended to explore everything the South Pacific Zone area has to offer!

We are a Canadian family from Toronto. We fell in love with Costa Rica since our first visit back in 2003 and dreamt about owning a property in there since then.
