General Overview

Stunning two bedrooms, two bathrooms property with unbelievable sunset ocean views. One acre of land, private pool, fast speed internet. Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, covered carport. This house has all the best features the Southern Zone in Costa Rica has to offer. We are located 10 minutes north from a quaint little town of Dominical, known as a world class surfing destination. Nauyaca waterfalls, the biggest waterfalls in Costa Rica are 20 minutes away. https://nauyacawaterfallscostarica.com/ Marino Ballena National park, which is known as the most bio diverse marine national park and also for its famous whale tail land formation (you can walk the formation during the low tide) is 30 minutes drive away. https://www.sinac.go.cr/EN-US/ac/acosa/pnmb/Pages/default.aspx Manuel Antonio National Park is about 30 minutes away (we are about 20 minutes away from Quepos).

The Space

The house is spaced out across two floors. The first floor features an open concept kitchen an dliving room, a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. The second floor features a very big master bedroom with a bid desk that can be used as a workstation. A beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean is also located on the second floor. One can see the ocean from the master bedroom as well. All in all the house is about 2100 sq feet under roof (includng all the terraces).

Notes

This is our vacation home and we have a professional property managemnt company looking after the property when we are away. For guest points exchanges, 100USD cleaning fee might apply, this can be payble directly to the property management company either upon your arrival or departure (we can agree on the details).

Neighbourhood

The house is located in a quaint little town of Hatillo, Puntarenas Province. We are located 10 minutes drive north from Dominical and 20 minutes drive south from Quepos.

Getting to my home

The property is located on a mountain, only 3 minutes drive from the main highway (the Costanera). You would need a 4x4 car to access the property. We are open to renting our vehicle which is a brand new Mitsubishi Montero, 7 seater, 4x4, diesel vehicle.

Nearest airport

The nearest international airport is located in San Jose (SJO) and is about 3 hours drive from the property. There is also a domestic airport in Quepos and its only 20 minutes drive from th eproperty and the local flight takes only 20 minutes (please note that there are some lugagge restrictions on the domestic flights).

Getting Around

You would need a car to access local beaches, shops, restaurants, etc. There are super fabulous restaraunts in Dominical and Uvita. There are also several really good restaraunts in the village itself but its better to use the car to go up and down the mountain. 4WD vehicle is highly recommended to explore everything the South Pacific Zone area has to offer!

We are a Canadian family from Toronto. We fell in love with Costa Rica since our first visit back in 2003 and dreamt about owning a property in there since then. We managed to fulfill our dream back in 2017 and bought our beautiful peoperty which we named Jungle Dream Villa. We have professional property management company managing the property when we are not there and they can also assist with the process of checking in and out as well as help with various requests.
