Neighbourhood
There are many local restaurants, markets, shopping malls. On site there is an 18-hole golf club with driving range as well as the Rivière du Nord where you can fish, kayak, canoe or paddle. Several equestrian centers a few feet from our home.
In the surrounding towns, you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as: skiing, hiking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, festivals, etc. You can also do many indoor activities like: shopping, museum visits, zoo, botanical garden, water slides, historical sites, shows (music, play, comedian), art exhibitions, festival, etc.
For more specific activities, in the spring we have the maple syrup harvest, in the fall the festival of colours, in the summer the national holidays of St-Jean, in winter the Quebec Winter Carnival, snowmobiling, skiing, sledding, dog sledding, skating, etc.

Within 5 minutes of our home (by car) there are grocery stores, pharmacies, fast food restaurants, and more. There are also many places where you can buy food directly from the farm (fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese and more).
You will be in a bucolic setting in the countryside but with towns that offer all services about ten kilometres away

People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
