Neighbourhood

Buderim is close to beaches and the hinterland. Buderim is a small village with many coffee shops, restaurants and bush walks. A 10-15 minute drive from the beaches of Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore (and the Sunshine Coast Airport). The hinterland towns of Montville and Maleny are 25 minutes away (and Australia Zoo). Noosa is a little further north and a 35-40 minute drive. Fraser Island is around three hours to the north and the Gold Coast is a similar distance to the south. The main airport in Brisbane, the Queensland capital, is an hour away.

Getting to my home

It is best to have a car for this area of the Sunshine Coast. There is limited public transport around this area. From Brisbane, take a train towards Nambour. Leave the train at Landsborough station to take a bus to Buderim.

Nearest airport

Brisbane International airport is most easily accessed by Con-x-ion buses or by car. It is 1 hour away. Maroochydore airport is 15mins away by car/taxi.

Getting Around

Buderim is a 10min walk from our house.

Wendy

We are a family of 4 who live on the Sunshine Coast in Qld, Australia in a 1980s brick classic. We are about a 1hr drive north of Brisbane, a short drive from beaches and (small) mountains. Hiking and mountain biking trails are close by.
