General Overview
We live in Erembodem, a 5-minute walk from the Kluizenbos. Behind the house is a flower picking garden (I am a florist by profession) and a landscaped vegetable garden (1.5a). All shops are 5 minutes by car, as well as the station of Erembodegem (30 min from Ghent and Brussels). Staying in nature but still close to all comforts.
The house is spacious with lots of light and everything is on the ground floor.
We have two bedrooms available (1 large bed, the other room is the children's room with 2 single beds). There is an extra room that is used as my office space. If necessary, two mattresses can be placed here and thus 2 extra sleeping places can be created.
The house has a large open living space, two bathrooms, a mini fitness room, sun-drenched terrace and a very large garden with extra sitting areas and a view of the flower field or our vegetable garden. Our Indian runner ducks roam freely in the backyard. We are real outdoor people and outside is an extension of our living space with sitting area, hammock, aperitif corner, dining table, .. A true paradise for lovers of nature and flowers!
The Space
We have a comfortably furnished house. Upon entering you are immediately in the open space with living room, dining area, open kitchen and mezzanine. On top of the mezzanine is a small sitting area and mini fitness room. The house has many large windows and underfloor heating. There is a laundry room with toilet. At the back you come to the bedrooms, bathroom and office space. You can also go to the garden from here. Along the living room you can go to the terrace with seating, so you also enter the garden. We have several outdoor seating areas to relax and enjoy nature.
Guest Access
Everything is on the ground floor, we live in an L shaped house. At the front is the living area with mezzanine, at the back are the bedrooms and bathroom and access to the terrace/garden
Notes
We have some chickens and ducks. It would be nice if you would eat and water them during your stay.
