General Overview

Nestled on the western balcony of the Vercors overlooking the city, our house is an excellent spot that combines mountains, and wide open spaces, quick access to popular ski resorts close to major cities (Lyon, Geneva) and smaller ones very pleasant to visit for a day (Annecy, Aix les bains) The panoramic view of the Belledonne chain and the Chartreuse massif from the terrace and its swimming lane are a delight for the eyes. The shade of the large lime tree invites you to relax, read or take a nap after a good swim in summer. A summer day would be summed up as follows: walk or hike in the morning, swimming and relaxing terrace in the afternoon and barbecue in the evening. BBQ lovers will find what they are looking for (pellet BBQ, low & slow) The shaded hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible without a car, directly from the house to access a beautiful balcony overlooking the city from the heights of the Vercors. A winter day would be summed up like this: Skiing during the day, shower and hot drink on the way back, a good dinner and a cocooning evening on the big sofa, playing board games with the family or watching a good movie. Comfortable and pleasant family home, tastefully decorated in a minimalist and contemporary spirit. We go in and we don't want to leave

The Space

The house has four bedrooms including a master suite and a guest suite and two large bedrooms upstairs, all with queen and king size beds. A very practical room at the entrance is dedicated to cleaning (washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, wardrobe, cleaning products, ironing, sink, etc.). The kitchen, convivial for family meals around a central island, is open to the living room with large bay windows, and a small intimate living room equipped for multimedia, conducive to cocooning. A semi-pro coffee maker is available for amateurs.

As a couple in their forties with children or rather very young adults, a doctor and a financial consultant by trade, we love nature, good food and above all the discovery of new places and new people. We take care of our vacation rental places as if they were our home, and wish we had people who would do the same for ours. Sometimes there are only two of us travelling, when the children are not available.
