General Overview
SEPTEMBER 2025 UPDATE: I'm currently pregnant so our travel plans are on hold at the moment! Our house will not be available for exchanges for the forseeable future.
Our spacious and light-filled home is perfect for families! With 4 bedrooms and 4000 sq ft, there’s plenty of space to relax and unwind. Kids (and parents!) will love the great selection of toys and books to keep them entertained. Our neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and great for families, with walking trails and a playground in the backyard. Whether you’re looking for a cozy getaway or a fun-filled stay, our home is a welcoming retreat for travelers of all ages!

Philadelphia, NYC, and Washington DC are all accessible by train or car! (1 hour to Philadelphia, 2.5 hours to NYC, 3 hours to Washington DC)
We are a remote working/homeschooling family so we can travel at any time.
We have two indoor cats, and our desire is that whoever stays in our home will take care of them. They have a large food dispenser that only needs filled up every couple of days, they’re friendly and good with kids, and very low maintenance.
Lancaster County, PA, is a fantastic destination for families, offering a mix of scenic countryside, kid-friendly attractions, and easy access to major East Coast cities. Known for its Amish culture, families can take a buggy ride, visit working farms, and experience traditional Pennsylvania Dutch cooking. Dutch Wonderland, a charming amusement park designed for young children, is a must-visit, and the Turkey Hill Experience lets kids create their own ice cream flavors. The Strasburg Rail Road offers scenic train rides through rolling farmland, while Cherry Crest Adventure Farm has seasonal corn mazes and hands-on activities. Downtown Lancaster offers tons of incredible restaurants, bars, and cafes!
Just a short drive away, Hershey Park delivers thrilling rides, a water park, and, of course, plenty of chocolate-themed fun. For those looking to explore big cities, Lancaster is conveniently located near major hubs—Philadelphia is about 1.5 hours away by car, and both New York City and Washington, D.C., are easily accessible by train in under 3 hours. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or action-packed adventure, Lancaster County is a great home base for family-friendly fun!
The Space
Our home was built in 2024, so everything is brand new! It features an open-concept main floor with plenty of natural light, a spacious living area, a modern kitchen, and an office with doors for privacy. Upstairs, you’ll find four bedrooms. The master bedroom is oversized with a walk-in closet and a private en suite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom, while the fourth bedroom has its own en suite. The finished basement has another full bathroom, gym equipment, couches & TV. Outside, there’s a covered porch, and our backyard opens directly to the neighborhood playground—perfect for families!
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire home, including all four bedrooms, the open living space, and the backyard. The house has three floors, with all bedrooms located upstairs. There are stairs leading to the second floor, so it is not wheelchair accessible.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is family-friendly, safe, and perfect for outdoor lovers. We have scenic walking trails, a community playground right in our backyard, and plenty of green space. Nearby, you’ll find parks, coffee shops, grocery stores, and great local restaurants. Lancaster, PA, is known for its charming downtown, farmers’ markets, and Amish countryside, all just a short drive away. If you’re a runner or walker, the neighborhood is quiet with well-maintained sidewalks and beautiful views.
Getting to my home
By Air: The closest airport is Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), about a 35-minute drive away. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is another option, roughly 90 minutes away.
• By Road: We’re easily accessible via major highways, including Route 283 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76).
• By Rail: Amtrak services the Lancaster Train Station, about a 15-minute drive from our home, with connections to Philadelphia, New York City, and beyond.
• By Walking: While the immediate neighborhood is great for walking, a car is recommended for getting around Lancaster and exploring the surrounding areas.
