General Overview

Welcome to my cozy and aesthetic home in Rotterdam! It’s small but well-designed, with a spacious bedroom and a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for unwinding. Just 100 meters from the Maas, a short walk to the Kralingse Plas, and close to the city center, it’s a great spot to explore both nature and urban life. There’s a bike in the shed, so you can easily get around. I’m looking for a nice place to stay, preferably somewhere sunny. Always up for new adventures—nothing is too crazy! Let’s swap homes and experience something different.

The Space

The spacious living room features a large sofa and a dining table, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and oven/microwave. The bathroom and toilet are separate for added convenience. The bedroom is spacious and includes a workspace with an extra screen available. But my absolute favorite spot? The balcony! It may be small, but it’s the perfect place to unwind—whether it’s enjoying the evening sun with a glass of wine and good company or simply taking in the fresh air.

Neighbourhood

My apartment is located in a lovely area on the edge of Rotterdam's city center, offering a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Just a short walk away, you’ll find Lusthofstraat, the most vibrant street in Kralingen, known for its charming shops, cozy cafés, and local boutiques. Kralingen is a well-loved neighborhood, famous for its green spaces, including the beautiful Kralingse Bos and the picturesque Kralingse Plas, perfect for walking, cycling, or relaxing by the water. You’ll enjoy a peaceful yet lively atmosphere here, with easy access to everything Rotterdam has to offer.

Getting to my home

Public transport in the Netherlands is well-organized, so I highly recommend using it. From Rotterdam Central Station, you can take a tram that stops right in front of my building. Alternatively, the metro station is just a 5-minute walk away. If you’re traveling by car, it’s easy to reach the city. There’s parking available right outside my apartment for €0.60 per hour. If you'd prefer a more affordable option, you can park slightly outside the city at Capelse Brug and then take the metro to my place. This makes it very convenient for getting around Rotterdam and beyond.

Getting Around

As mentioned, I highly recommend using public transport to get around the city. Cycling is also a great option for exploring Rotterdam! I have one bike available for you to use, and it’s easy to rent an additional one if needed. Of course, you can also get around by car, but keep in mind that parking fees in the city can be quite high.
