General Overview

We have a 4 bed family home in the heart of the beautiful cotswolds. Our home is both practical and welcoming. Perfect for families or couples. The location is probably our homes’ biggest asset. We live in the beautiful small town of Charlbury in the heart of the cotswold. The town has a shop and lots of things going on but there is also beautiful countryside on your doorstep. We are only a 15 minute train ride to the city of Oxford and only 1 hour train journey to central London. Our home is great for a family, it has everything you need and enough space. It has parking and a small garden.

The Space

Our home has 4 bedrooms with the ability to make a 5th bedroom with a futon if required. It has a spacious kitchen/dining room and a sitting room. There is also a small utility room and a study which is where the 5th bedroom could be if needed. There is one large bathroom upstairs and an en-suite off the master bedroom. 4 bedrooms upstairs- 2 large bedrooms one with super king bed and one with king bed. Two smaller bedrooms one with child bed and one with cot although could put a bed in one of these rooms if required. Small garden at the back with area for eating and bbq. Parking out the front for 3 cars if needed.

Neighbourhood

The small town of Charlbury is a quintessential Cotswold town but with the luxury of direct train link to London and lots of amenities in the town itself. There are 4 pubs two of which are high end eateries. There is a shop, community centre with library, doctors, chemist and deli. Although our home is on the main road through the town just a 2 minute walk from our house and you are in the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds. After a short climb you can enjoy beautiful views and see for miles around.

Getting to my home

Although a car is preferable in terms of exploring the local area you can get to our home easily via train from London. If flying you can also get buses easily from all major airports in UK to Oxford and then get the 15minute train journey to Charlbury

We live in the beautiful Cotswolds (Oxfordshire) and whilst we love where we live we also love to explore! We are a family of 5. Our children are 5 years, 3 years and 8 months. We would like to give our children new and exciting experiences. We have recently decided to take on a new and exciting challenge: we are hoping to visit every European country by the time our eldest is 18yrs. We are hoping the lovely PLU family can help us achieve this goal!
