Our vacation home is located nearly beach front (~100 yards or 100 meters) from Ausuchillas Beach on the Gran Pacifica Resort in Nicaragua. Gran Pacifica Resort occupies 2500 acres and has 3.5 miles of private beach on the Pacific Ocean. The beach boasts surfing for beginners, intermediates, to experts on several surf breaks. The resort has lots of amenities: 9 hole golf course. horse rentals, 3 large pools, grass tennis course, frisbee golf, sea turtle sanctuary, community bikes, gym, surf fishing, weekly farmers market, onsite restaurant and bar.
The Space
Our home is a new construction two story concrete tiny home. There are two separate bedrooms each with a queen size bed. There are two full size bathrooms (one on each floor). There is a kitchen with full size stove/oven and fridge. The home is outfitted with everything you need for a beach vacation short of clothes and food.
The home is completely off grid with a 7500 watt solar system and 20kw batteries. Although off grid, the home does not lack for conveniences. The home comes with two minisplit air conditioners, on-demand tankless water heater, clothes washer, smart TV, and high speed internet.
Guest Access
Gran Pacifica Resort is a gated community with 24 hour roving security. The upper bedroom and terrace are accessed by an outside stairway (so some stairs if you have mobility issues). However, the lower bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen are ground floor.

The Gran Pacifica Resort offers on-site massage over looking the ocean, surfing lessons, baby sea turtle releases, bikes, golf carts, and beach bonfires.

Gran Pacifica Resort is fairly remote. The resort is 2500 acres with 3.5 miles of private Pacific Ocean beach. The fishing village of San Diego Nicargaua is a good 3 mile walk down the beach next to the river. Fresh fish and cheap beach side food and drinks are available in the village.

Car rental would allow for seeing the sites outside the resort. However, taxis and transport vans are cheap. Most communication occurs via Whatsapp in Central America.
