This is our second-home nestled in the Sierra foothills in Nevada City, CA. Nevada City is a historic town with Victorian charm. We spend most of our weekends and summer holidays here.

3-story home with wood and carpeted flooring. The main level has a guest-bedroom, office with a pool-table, living room, open kitchen with an island. Please note, we do not have a formal dining table and instead use the large kitchen island as table. We also have two tables, one on the deck and one on the porch. Currently kids use the formal "dining table" space for their playing. Upper level has a master-bedroom with jacuzzi tub and a double shower. Master bedroom has a king bed and 2 twin loft beds. Please note Master bedroom is typically not offered unless previously agreed upon. This is because we use this space and is difficult for me to have it ready at a moments notice. Other rooms are not used on a regular basis and therefore easier to offer to other guests. 2 other rooms are connected with a jack-n-jill bathroom with shower/tub combo. One of these rooms has a king bed and the other room has double-sized bunk beds and a twin trundle. Part of the corridor overlooks the living room. Lower level room has a king bed and an air-hockey table, a full sized drum set and a balcony with access to the outdoor space. Please note there are no bathrooms, toilets or closets in this room/level. We have a 6ft deep pool that is heated during the summer (May-August) and a 6-person hot tub. There is a play structure on the property. Cleaning fee of 250USD is required. This cleaning does not include change of sheets for our guests. So if the exchange is happening during a time I'm out of town, I would like your help washing and putting the sheets back on. Please note this is a wooded area. I really appreciate your help in keeping exterior doors closed so unwanted wildlife doesn't enter our home!

3-floors, not accessible friendly. Built as a split level home with rooms at different levels on the main floor.

No Pets, No smoking. Note no formal dinning table (we use the kitchen island). Must be potty trained to be in pool (or really good about timing when you use it as pool water cannot be changed)

We are located ~45-mins from Sugarbowl ski resort in Tahoe that we love due to its less crowded experience and easy access from our property. We are also 1hr from North-Lake Tahoe and about 1hr 45m from South-Lake Tahoe. We are a 10m walk from Scotts Flat lake reservoir for enjoying quiet scenic hikes without getting into a car. The area is well known for the many mountain biking trails.

Driving is required to get around. Nearest supermarket/grocery store is about a 20m drive away. Doordash / Safeway grocery do delivery to our address. Nearest town, Nevada city is about 20m by car and Grass Valley is similarly close.

Sacramento airport is about 1.5hrs away and San Francisco Airport is ~3hrs.
