Neighbourhood

Our suburb is like a village in that it is extremely friendly & is well serviced with coffee shops & cafes, PO, supermarket, medical services & pharmacies, vet practice, butcheries, Newsagency, bakeries, hotel & bottle shops, second hand book & clothing shops, historical society shop, library, walking tracks, children's playgrounds, sporting facilities including 2 sailing clubs, motor yacht club, rowing club, lawn bowls club, tennis courts , cricket & football ovals, RSL club, bike & walking tracks.....it's all here & only a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive!) from our peacefully quiet home. Whilst the centre of the city of Hobart is an easy 12 minute drive & the airport & MONA are only 15 minutes away too.

Getting Around

Our home is less than a 1minute walk to a bus stop for a regular bus service to the Hobart city centre & the Rosny shopping centre. Our local Lindisfarne Village shopping area is within easy walking distance (10 minutes) & a butcher & takeaway store is 1km away at the end of our avenue.
