General Overview

Welcome to Crest House — an entirely renovated, well-appointed midcentury modern home on a private drive in South Ashland. Outdoors, you’ll discover ample patio seating and unmatched views of Grizzly Peak, Ashland’s small non-commercial airport, and Pacific Northwest sunrises. Kick your feet up by the firepit, play a game or two of horseshoes, then cook dinner for everyone on the grill.

The Space

THE SPACE Crest House is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, mid-century modern home that’s ideal for family getaways or your annual girls’ weekend. Five people sleep comfortably, but six isn’t a crowd if you count the comfy living room couch (which is as wide as a full size bed). The generous open living space offers plenty of opportunities to relax, entertain, eat, drink, play games and enjoy good company. Plop down in front of the large flat-screen TV, or take advantage of the chef’s kitchen in the heart of home and cook up a storm! Our biggest hope is that you’ll make yourself comfortable in this home away from home. The open floor plan lends itself to group meals, family game nights, and long conversations around the huge kitchen island. Cozy up in the living room to watch a flix, or face the large windows for expansive views of the Ashland hillsides.

Guest Access

Bedroom 1 features a king bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. Bedroom 3 a twin bed Bedroom 4 a twin bed. Have an extra guest? They can be accommodated on our super-wide, mega-plush couch.

Neighbourhood

GETTING AROUND Crest House sits conveniently just one minute from the I-5 freeway entrance (although you won’t be able to hear or see the freeway), and adjacent to Ashland’s premier hotel and conference center. There are four great restaurants right out our back door (okay, maybe it’ll take a few minutes to walk there), and yet the home rests on top of a secluded knoll with stunning and unobstructed views of the Ashland valley. It’s really the best of both worlds — you’ll feel like you are in the country, but only steps away from the action. We’re also just a few minutes from Emigrant Lake, and several local wineries! It is an approximately 7-minute drive from the house to Downtown Ashland’s Plaza and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theatre.

Hello from Oregon, we are the Hogge Family! Our family of 5 loves to play outside and we have just returned from a journey of a lifetime traveling for 10 months. We are fairly new to the home exchange platform, but very experienced in the hospitality world.
